CHRISTMAS CRACKERS

Christmas crackers are part of Christmas celebrations in Britain. A cracker consists of a cardboard tube wrapped in a decorate twist of paper. A person pulls on an each end of the cracker and when the cracker breaks the contents fall out. A Christmas cracker traditionally contents a small crown, a small gift and a joke.

We have made crackers in the school. Do you want to see the photos? They're fantastic!

COUNTDOWN CHRISTMAS

We are in December at last! Christmas arrives soon. Advent calendars are a countdown to Christmas day. The Advent calendars start on the first day of December, they are a fun way to help children to know when Christmas Eve will arrive, an important night for them because Father Christmas will visit them bringing gifts.
The Advent calendars have got twenty four small windows. Every morning children open one window to find a small present (a chocolate, a sweet...).
I haven't got an Advent calendar with chocolates but if you want to know how many days are missing for Christmas, look at this special calendar.
Have a good day!
